To make a Stop Motion you have to move the object a very little bit and then take a picture.
If you take lots of photos then it will make the video longer.
You have take photos of the small movements.

In the last couple of weeks Matai students have been getting ready for our Art Exhibition. Part of the skills we have been learning is about stop motion.
Tonight was a fantastic celebration of Pasifika culture that we have in our school and cluster community. Thank you to our wonderful children for an amazing performance!!
Last week we read a book about Hens. We read the information and then summarised it in our own words. Have a listen to our Chatterpix creations and see if we can teach you something about hens! Well done to Tia, Karaitiana and Sadie.
At writing time last week the Spitfires were using the information from their book about Tyrannosaurus Rex to write information reports. Then they recorded their writing using Chatterpix app on the iPads. They found out a lot of interesting information! Well done Skyla, Heidi, Kaleb, and Patrick.
Leave us a comment with a question about something you would like us to find out about Dinosaurs!
Over the past week a few children from Matai got some potatoes ready for seed.
We had to place them onto an egg tray and then put them in a dark place. We decided that the old filing cabinet in the old ESOL room was perfect for it.
One week on this is what they are looking like. We wonder how long it will take before we can plant them? Could anyone help us?
