Creating Compound Sentences

In writing today with Mrs Hefferman we were learning how to take two simple sentences and join them together using a conjunction.


We used this powerpoint to help us with our learning.





Here are our compound sentences we created with the conjunction underlined.












We will be trying to add this kind of sentence into our writing very soon!

    Hello Sockburn School.
    I like the sentence that you have all written together! It was so cool! This reminds me of when I was in the Junior School and we used to write sentences on whiteboards.
    You guys could put it on a slide so we can flick through. instead of going down and you guys are going to be the first school that U guys used like streaching the words like
    B E C A U S E You guys are improving your sentunce.
    thank you for putting it in your writting full stops. check you guys are all ready for the seinior stage.
    When you guys grow up follow your dreams and see the futer

    1 Question did the whole school do it?
    Or did the whole class do it

      No the whole class didn't do it. All of the Whio writing group did it with their teacher Mrs H.
